Semi-Pro Photography: Parade During Ukrainian Festival in Toronto

I decided to try myself as a reporting photographer for a few recent events. Ukrainian festival is one of the most colorful events in Toronto and parade during Ukrainian festival was my goal for a long time. Here are some of the most successful photos from this event.

There were a lot people participating in Ukrainian parade. However, there were fewer viewers, than participants along parade route. While the parade by itself didn’t attract too many viewers, the fair had decent amount of attendees.

When I've sad, that Ukrainian Festival is one of the most colorful events in Toronto, I meant national Ukrainian dresses. Below is the photo of the Ukrainians from Cleveland Ohio dressed in typical Ukrainian national dresses.

Ukrainian Credit Union Buduchnist was quite colourful too with blue dresses and blue balloons.

This Ukrainian ensemble had very nice dresses and music was great too. Probably, it was the most colourful ensemble among others, who participated in the parade.

However, the most memorable part of the ensemble was not the music or dresses, but theirs main performer. This guy was able to make a mini-show almost for any viewer.

The car wash “Original Six” brought vintage car and Miss Canada 2012 (the one on the left). Closer look had revealed that she is Miss Canada Travel 2012.

Quite a few nice Ukrainian girls participated in the parade as well.

Here is another Ukrainian ensemble which made great impression on me. They were well organized, marching in uniforms with flags and followed by the brass band.
